Dirt bike haul'n bus/picture intro

Hello from OKC. My work in progress, it will carry 5 dirt bikes with ease,
9 in a pinch, one quad on the back.
No frills, warm, dry place to throw a bed roll. Mechanically sound, new tires a few years back, 10-12 mpg on the diesel.





4 bolted wheel chocks and 2 free standing chocks.



Replaced all the 1156 roof lights with LED.



$20 dollar LED strip light from China, on Ebay, blows away my high dollar LED lights. No flash, just the strip light.




Ramp before the deck. A little sketchy worming the handle bars through the door.
The deck gives a landing zone and a level bike entering the door.





All the exterior lights are LED but the headlights. Click pic for video.



It gets real tight when it's full of bikes.





Every long term project I do seems to need a little blood, sweat and tears at some point.

good stuff man. i raced cr500 in enduros. SERA. made it all the way to seniors class. folks wondered whos was the idiot in senior/open class. lolol nuttin like 100mph through 24 inch trails with 28 inch handlebars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool project. I'll be watching where this goes. Being a snowmobiler myself, I know the value of having a nice warm place to pull your equipment in for any needed modifications/repairs. The guys with enclosed trailers always end up hosting most of the parking lot bs sessions.

That is an awesome spin on the skoolie idea! Never thought about using one for something like this! Specially if you have one of those uber-long busses: bike storage+RV space!
