I have a 2005 International IC CE300 and would like to remove the 8-Way light system as well as the no child left behind system. I did not start tracing wires, but am wondering if anyone has this bus model and could tell me which components, in the electrical box, need to be removed. I am afraid that if I just remove the wires, I could have issues down the road if the systems are still in place. I was able to find the fuse for the emergency exit buzzer and removed that, but would like to remove all components of the system if I am able to.

Also, if anyone has pictures of removed components, or an electrical diagram for this bus, that would be awesome.

Thanks in advance for your help with this.

You end up finding an answer to this? Triggered our no child left behind alarm yesterday for the first time (after installing new batteries; been driving the bus since last summer…) and cannot wait to delete it lol

I guess it might be good to say, be careful what you disconnect in the bus interior. Some of the wiring constitutes the safety interlock system and if removed will leave you with a not start situation. There are a number of threads here in which folks who have removed all the interior wiring resulting in 'no start' are looking for help identifying which wire(s) were the culprits.

I have an '04 CE200 and I'm not going to do much with the interior wiring until very late in the game. I figure it's not hurting anything hanging out until I feel like it's time to start sorting it out.

International's no child left behind is a pain to remove.

What I usually do is disconnect the 8 way flasher switch in the steering wheel, and then pull the relay in the fuse box.

The no child left behind only activates once the 8 ways have been used so that makes it so it can never be activated.

Then I just remove the bulbs and lenses from the 8 ways.
