Dispersed Camping In California?

Hello Skoolie world. I apologize if the thread has already been covered, I couldn't find any info on the matter. I am traveling to california today (Los Angeles area) and was wondering if there was any free dispersed camping near the coast line. Anywhere along the coast really, not just LA. The mountains would be cool, if our bus can make it. She's had a tendency to overheat when climbing too steep of hills through the mountains. We have found several free dispersed camping areas so far on our travels, that are super awesome. Just curious if anyone has any insight on Skoolie camping near the coast of California. Because I can't find anything. Thanks in advance!

Gone are the days of free coastal camping in CA.

Having spent 62 years there I can say PCH and vac. are all posted. State Parks are nice but good luck getting in...that said there's always a chance of a cancellation. Bring $$$ SP are in the 40$ and up range.

I full timed in the so.cal. area for 4 years in the early 80's in class C. Doable then but now.......
