Just got our first bus, a 1969 Dodge with a carpenter body. Her name is Dodger. It was used as a mobile RV repair service vehicle on Whidbey Island, Washington for about 20 years. It has been parked for about three years. Has been well-maintained and runs and drives great for its age. Started right up and drove her home last weekend! The wife and I are going to turn it into a mini RV for camping. Pretty much a blank slate inside, already has a propane furnace DOT approved tank installed. I plan on putting floor in it, a bed across the back, some seating and a little bit of counter/storage space. More pics and info to come as the project moves along. Happy to be a part of the site!

Very cool! And I LOVE the ribbed siding!

I had a '66 Dodge Town Wagon with a slant six that I drove back and forth across America for 17 years and nearly 300,000 miles. It never skipped a beat, never burned or leaked oil and the engine was never rebuilt. I would kill to have it back now! Those were some of Chryslers' best years.

Looking forward to following your build.

Wow! That is really cool and unique... plus I have a soft spot for Mopars and those oh so sweet gear reduction starters that are music to my ears.

It's a shame they went away from them when the 318/360 was phased out.

To your ears and everyone within 2 blocks of the Dodge. I owned Dodges back in the 70's and thought they were great cars and trucks, all they needed was to figure out how to quiet the starters down.:thumb:

Another Sweptline shorty! Can't wait to see more photos of this beast! I'm down the road in Seattle with my '64 Dodge.

That's awesome, and I really love that back porch. Perfect space to store a few things, or just hang out in the morning with a cup of coffee.
