So I'm leaving Florida for Pennsylvania in a couple of days and while I'm down here I want to pick up some cypress planks for the interior of my bus. Does anybody know the total square footage of the inside of a 2000 series blue bird bus including floor walls and ceiling?

It's roughly 26.5 around the inside of a bus. Multiply that by your build length for your square footage. By bus has 32' of build space, or 848sf.

What kind of math is that you are using?

L x W usually amounts to sq/ft no?

Your bus must be the size of three buses according to you.

Mine is about 30x 8 or 240 sq. ft.

What are you talking about?

His post was only 2 sentences, I guess you only read the first. Nor did you read and comprehend my answer.

OP is asking for the sq ft of the floor, walls and ceiling. Marc used the circumference of the interior and multiplied it by the length of useable space. I did not check his math, however he was answering the original question, awkwards as it was phrased.

Sorry I did read it wrong thinking only floor sq footage, not counting walls and ceiling also.
Still don't understand your 26.5 around the inside measurement.

I didn't know going from Florida to Pennsylvania for cypress wood was possible. Maybe English isn't my first language.
Thanks Gustav for clarification also,:thumb:

In my bus, if you take the tape measure and start at the bottom of one wall and measure that wall, around the ceilng, down the other wall, and across the floor is 26.5'. Multiply that by your usable length and thats your total square footage of the "shell". Subtract 50-75sf for windows.
