I'm looking to add a pinion brake to my Spicer axle, and I'd like to know what year bus might have something to interchange. If your bus uses a pinion brake, please tell me the specs on the bus/axle, if you please.

I did find what appears to be a transmission parking brake for a spicer...have no idea if this would work for you, but it's only $300 bucks.

I'm needing a pinion brake. Someone said a CE200 had one, but I'm googlin' and not seeing much. Google thinks pinion brakes only exist on modified off road Jeeps/mud trucks.

I've only ever seen one bus with a pinion brake on here. No one has really talked about them historically here.

EWO just posted a manual....the 2005 CE had what I want to find. Now, off I go....slowly.

Post up the page so we can follow along!

also, I found this letter from IC, it is a product safety defect report and it talks specifically about a defective bolt. The doc also has a couple of telephone numbers, maybe a call to them might help get you a complete parts list?

Oh, and they officially call the system " Driveline Parking Brake".
