I've been searching for the answer with no luck. I'm almost done gutting our bus but I cannot seem to get the air tube unhooked. I've attached photos. The tube goes straight under the bus to a t-bracket with much the same hookup as those in the picture. I was able to follow one side of the line to another t-bracket and then to a black plug, which I regrettable forgot to get a pic of. Any help would be great. I dont want to mess up my air brakes if they are in fact connected. Thank you in advance.

In middle picture that is a push connect fitting. Push brass part toward center and pull line out. I would just cut the line and replace with a compression fitting. I've not had good luck reusing the push fittings. Be sure you get the inner sleeve for compression fitting used with plastic line.

Sorry for the late reply. Thank you so much for your response. It worked perfectly. I knew that was the key but just couldn't figure it out. I was pushing and pulling and twisting, but never considered that the gold piece wasn't part of the tubing I was trying to detach.

Bottom line is the seat has been removed. Thank you again.
