I am BMalandrino, and I'm thrilled to be joining this vibrant community of skoolie enthusiasts. As a newcomer, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share my aspirations for this exciting journey.

A little about myself—I come from AR but live in WI now and hail from a long line of blue collar workers and have been one most of my life. These days I'm just a caregiver for my mother. My interests have always gravitated towards gaming, woodworking, sustainable living farming and mechanics. While I've enjoyed my time in here in WI as a caregiver, the call of adventure and the desire for a simpler, more sustainable lifestyle have led me to explore the world of skoolie living.

I have always dreamt of embracing a nomadic lifestyle, filled with new experiences and the freedom to explore the beauty of different landscapes. Whether it's waking up to the sound of nature or finding community in unexpected places, I believe that the skoolie life offers the perfect blend of adventure and simplicity.

I am currently in the process of figuring out how to start my journey into mobile living and am eager to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for this unique way of life.

Welcome to the skoolie mindset! There's plenty of valuable information on here about bus selection, layout design, solar design, and more. I'd recommend Youtube channels such as Chuck Cassidy and DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse to start as well.
Bus selection is the start of the whole process so bear that in mind and take your time on it.
