Emergency exit

Ok so I bought my 1989 Thomson International 3800 DT360 with a Tommy Lift on the back ( for my toys ).

My Question is, Do I need to have an Emergency exit as the back currently is not a true Emergency exit. I have no Emergency windows and roof exit also, which I am mostly planning do to incorporate into my build out based on best solution ?

You don't need an emergency exit if it isn't a school bus any more!

That tommy lift will come in handy for toys and I'm sure it took some time to get it retrofitted onto the bus nice find. I concur with the others. School buses Need exits RV's don't have as many.

Emergency exits... Many RVs just have one main door and maybe a window in the back that can be popped out in an emergency. School busses typically have oodles of them - fronts, rears, middle windows, maybe a few hatches on the roof. Just keep in mind, even if you're not mandated to have specific exits, they don't exist just to satisfy code. They are there to help you escape from the vehicle if needed! If your bed's in the back (as many are), will you have a way to get out if the front half of the bus catches on fire? Food for thought.
