Emergency roof exit hatch size

Can anyone save me a trip out to the rv lot and let me know the dimensions of the roof hatches? I'm going to pull them out and seal up the hole with steel, just unsure of dimensions I'll need for the new piece to cover old hole and mounting screws.

Had to make the drive. Would have saved 45 minutes but oh well.

For anyone else wondering, to fully cover a roof hatch in a Thomas coach (not sure if all are the same) a 27" square should cover the old opening and mounting screws

What was the cut opening size?

The openings are right at 24", a 26" piece will cover with a 1" overlap.
