Factory electrical- what do these wires go to!

Hello! I new proud skoolie owner of a ford E 450 turbo diesel short bus with the handicap access! There are some wires on a panel at the back of the bus that I am not sure of. Can any one tell me if I need these wires still? Or if they were for the chair lift?

They are probably for the chair lift assembly. Mine had no chairlift, but it still had all the wiring for it in there (mine didn't even have the door).

Anywho, best bet would be to acquire wiring diagrams for the truck side as well as the coach side, BlueBird, Corbeil, Thomas, etc.

Don't cut/remove anything until you know what it is first.

looks almost like a trans/AIR or carrier panel for Air conditioning.. does the bus have A/C with an underbody skirt mount condenser?

must be trans air because it doesnt quite look like my carrier.

I doubt they are related to the lift. My international has/had a Braun lift. It was all self contained as a unit. There was a "battery" cable for power and another for ground. All control wires (control pendant) were part of the lift proper and did not connect with the chassis. There are interlocks that prevent the brakes from being released if the lift door is open. And yes, they function if you remove the switch to paint. Trust me.
But all that wiring is industrial and not linked to a radio shack terminal block.

As stated before, don't remove anything until you know what it does or doesn't do. You could unhook one wire at a time and see if the bus starts, moves, beeps or honks. In my limited bus experience those are the usual results of goofin'with the bees.
