Def. Need a location...where I got my bus they had another 5-10 a few weeks ago,different sizes and styles

A "long bus" would be a 40 ft bus. Roughly 30 to 32 ft in usable interior floor space.

... We're based in Colorado Springs... I've been contacting school districts all over, but to no avail yet.

Try Craigslist. There are usually a couple on Albuquerque Craigslist. From unconverted to fully converted and all stages in between. We never even bothered with the school bus districts.

If you want max storage capacity for tanks and what not, and and 84 pax bus, then you want a pusher like my thomas. My living room goes all the way to the windshield except for the shelf over the defroster, and the room behind my bedroom goes all the way to the back seat bench area, so the entire area is pretty much usable.
