It's not paint. It's truck bed liner. Rubbery. I like the black, at least on our beast. I did get the engine cover back on and fire it up tonight. Preliminary results seem encouraging. It's much quieter at idle.

So,we've had a chance to take the bus out on a few trips now. Ran out of diesel and sat along the road for three hours trying to get the injectors primed after a zombie promotional event... generated four 911 calls about escaped prisoners... good times...
