Finally got a bus

We purchased a 1993 international harvester, genesis DT466 MT643 84 passenger, forward control, bought it in Knoxville TN. drove it home with no problems. Going to start converting soon, I have found this site to be very informative & help full, the engine started at at or below freezing the day we looked at it hardly any smoke & when warmed up for a few minuates didn't smoke at all, I had gone prepared to do a compression test however how it started & ran so good didn't do a test.

Been trying to post pictures even tried to post in gallery,not much success , we have finally gotten the seats out , the rubber matting out, cleaning & sanding the ceiling, bought cabinets , water heater, tanks, & gotten the linoleum for the flooring. got to go work on the bus.

I thought I would finally introduce ourselves, my wife & are both 50 just, decided to do the bus to rv conversion, because a big diesel rv would be tooooo expensive, sure don't want a payment, our situation is that this will be our home! I had back surgery quite a few years ago, lumbar region , well the pain never went away, found out last year from a different pain dr. that I have nerve damage, still working now, but it sure is tough to do when your in constant horriable pain, going to sell everything & take off in the bus, fingers crossed disability, fought going on disability but I'm running out of options
