So this isn't about a conversion...yet. I bought my bus on Public Auction sight unseen from a school district in Arizona. I'm in Oregon. I had a friend who lives down there go pick it up and it's been in his back yard for a couple of months. I'm flying to Arizona tonight and will see it in person for the first time.
I'm spending the weekend with friends going to a football game, but come Sunday afternoon I'll be taking out the rig for the first time and starting an epic (to me at least) road trip. 1200+ miles. I plan on taking it very easy on it since I'm not sure how it will run for this length of time. Also unsure if there is a governor or what RPM/Speed it's set at.
Just super excited to get it home to start the LONG project of converting it. I'm figuring on 2 years at least.
Anyway, wish me luck! Hopefully I don't have any horror stories on my trip.
