Purchased a 1990 Crown Supercoach with DD 6-71TA and Allison MT647 from a School District in CA. They purchased it new in 1990 and had the original paperwork and maintenance logs. Bus has approx. 95k documented miles. Engine was replaced around 64k miles but no reason was documented as to why. The Bus was in service as a backup and for activities. We drove it back home via the southern route (CA,AZ,NM,TX,OK,KS) and got 9.86 mpg.

Correction: Gas mileage was 7.93 mpg not 9.86.

Pics of my Crown

Here are some pics. The bus sat outside for many years so there is some light rust on the passenger side bumper chrome. There is no other rust I am aware of. The area this bus is from only gets about 12 inches of rain per year.
