Hi all,

My partner and I have been visioning to do a bus conversion for a few months now. Just two weeks ago, as we gazed around the barn we live and work-trade in, we wondered how the hell we would fit all that STUFF into our vision? How do we pick and choose?

Well the universe was listening, and less than two weeks ago an fire broke out on our farm, destroying our home, our tools, instruments, all our belongings. In addition, we lost many sweet animals- goats, chickens, piglets- and are just now in the process of recovery and mourning.

If now isn't the right time to convert a bus, when is? We are watching Colorado school auctions and public surplus auctions but haven't found our bus yet. For now, we are fundraising to make our vision a reality-

For now, any advice or words of wisdom are appreciated. We are grateful to be on the pathway to sustainable and minimalistic living - and glad to be part of this badass skoolie community.

Welcome! Sorry to hear of your losses. The world dealt you a hand that is likely intended to force you down a road you were unlikely to travel with out it. Most great things seem to start this way. I don't have any specific advice other than be open and have patience. Read alot on here, use these folks, loads of knowledge here. Is it safe to assume you're in Colorado?
