Hi all, I am replacing my drive train on a 1987 S 1800. I have a MD 3060 that I want to mate with a DT 466 mechanical. I have everything but need a flexplate. The trans originally has a 12 bolt flex plate and the engine has an 8 bolt crank. Anybody know where I can find something that will fit? I've tried dieseldash and a couple used parts dealers and no luck.

Thanks for any help

@beng-SKO, I copied your post from the other thread here...
I am currently having my shop converting an Allison MD3060 with a DT466. Everything is bolted to the truck. He's got the throttle position to read but it doesn't show throttle percentage. He's going to hook a tach up and wire it in to the trans computer so it can read engine speed. Is there additional hardware I need? Thanks

Thanks for letting me get away with this...

Can you please just give us all a quick rundown on what you got done so far besides the bolt up..

What gen tranny-TCM you using?

Where are you with the wiring?

Were there many obstacles to overcome to get where you are at?

Do you have any manuals and or wiring diagrams...

What prompted you to do this?

There are a lot of smart people here and quite a few that would like to see/learn what you are doing.

Thanks....keep us posted.

I bought an Allison - Transmission Model: MD3060P -Truck VIN: 1HTMMAANX3H567007 with PTO and Pump
TCM, TPS, transmission wiring harness, yoke, flex plate, ring gear, trans cooler, selector, and front adapter. Everything I thought I would need from 1 donor truck. Ended up having a machine shop fabricate the flex plate because I couldn't find one to fit. My shop is very creative and was able to fabricate as necessary, had a new drive shaft made, etc.

I've had this truck for 20 years. I want something non DEF. It's a 4x4 with a 6 ton knuckleboom which I also had rebuilt. It is non CDL. I have a f550 with a 3 ton crane but it's not big enough. I put a new 16' flatbed on it and painted it light green. The drive train was the last thing on my list. I'm close, just got to get the trans to talk to the engine.

Thanks for any help.

Can you explain a bit more ...

how/what do you mean?

I have a 1995 bus with a WTECII MD3060 behind a mechanical DT466. Mine has the Throttle Position Sensor, and I think that all of the rest of the speed signals come from the transmission-- input RPM, turbine RPM and output shaft RPM, or something like that. I want to believe there were three speed sensors in the transmission, so you don't need any speed signals from the engine.
