And yes, it's important. Considering you can put this stuff under water and it doesn't hurt it one bit. That is how they use to display a sample of it, encased in a small closed case of water. I've seen roofs in the snow belt done in this and go through a winter with no covering or shingle on them and get shingled the following spring.
