Floor rust.

Ok, so I am new to this school bus thing. I have always wanted to convert one. So I just bought a 2000 Bluebird with a 24 valve Cummins engine. 154000 miles. I took out all the seats, all the inside metal , insulation, and now working on the floor. The rust is not real bad , but I don't want it to get bad either. So my question is, how do I get rid of the rust that is there and how do I prevent more rust? Is there anything I can put on it to stop it from spreading? Also there is holes from seat bolts and nails. How can I patch these many holes to prevent moisture from getting in? Thank you in advance.

I used coroseal, it's a rust converter. After that I put down a coating of Rust-Oleum paint. Ospho is another rust converter as an option.

As far as the holes go I used roof flashing tape I picked up a 75' roll at my local restore for $20 you can also get it at HD. The flashing tape is designed to create a seal against rain so I figured I'll work on the holes. Not sure it's the popular method used here as I'm sure others have there own way but it's what I used so I figured I'd advertise the idea.

First off, welcome!
I sanded down my rust and then treated with Etch and Prep I got from HD. Then I had to patch some holes where the rust had eaten through. Next up, painting the floor with rustoleum. As for the holes from the seat bolts and screws, I filled each hole with Henrys 212 clear. It fills in the holes and hardens nicely. Good luck!!
