Hey fellow Florida skoolies (and other very humid climates),

I was wondering what y'all do to keep moisture under control in your skoolie after conversion? My wife and I moved into ours about a month ago, and we're already having a real mold/mildew problem. I think we just got it under control, but we'd like to make it stay that way. The weather is just so humid, it's hard to keep the moisture from getting everywhere. And - we don't have the budget at the moment to add a window AC unit, nor will we always have a place to plug one in anyway.

Any other suggestions?

Damp rid and turn the roof top fan on exhaust.

I lived full time in buses/RV's for several years. I found that a dehumidifier was essential.

When weather allows opening windows and running fans we didn't have much trouble. As soon as it got cool enough to close the windows we had moisture issues.

Propane cooking and daily showers aggravated the issue.

Dehumidifier made the bus much healthier and more comfortable in the Winter.
