Price: Looking for $6,000
Location: Selma, North Carolina
Mileage: 213,629
Engine: Cummins ISB 6.7 200–260 hp
Transmission: Either Allison 2500 or 3000 Automatic
Description: Repost from Nov. 2024. TLDR was a project for my wife and I but then wife got sick and project is no longer viable.
What was done: My wife and I completely gutted the bus. I welded all the holes that were left from taking the seats out. We replaced 3 of the windows with inserts from a person who makes skoolie parts here in NC (I don't remember the website off the top of my head). The air dryer has been replaced. We had the rear door fixed as the bottom panel window had been shattered out and the bottom edge of it had really bad rust issues. We took it to a local welding shop and they were able to fix it up. In the picture you will see that the side storage box on the outside has a hole in it. We didn't have the key and my dad wanted to know what was inside so brute force was his desired method. New batteries have been installed this year as well.
Other current issue is an air leak under the bus. Not currently enough to prevent the bus from disengaging the parking break, but definitely something to consider if interested.
Since the sidelining its been living at my parents house with my dad starting it occasionally to keep things in working order. While I am asking for $6k I am willing to negotiate. Its not currently road legal (no plates or insurance) so depending on the distance I am willing to pay to get it towed where it needed to go. Send me a PM if you are interested. If you want to see a video of it running, I have this posted on FB marketplace as well.
