Hi there! I’m selling my 1986 Crown Supercoach, a legendary bus known as the Rolls Royce of school buses. It has an aluminum body built to stand the test of time and timeless styling to match.
The specs include a mid-engine Detroit 6-71 motor, Allison automatic transmission, and only 132,000 miles. It also has new wheels and shocks, along with a fresh oil and coolant change.
I originally picked it up in Oregon and drove it 15 hours to my parents shop in Montana without a single issue. It’s already titled as an RV and partially converted, so it’s ready for someone to make it their own.
The build includes full insulation with Havelock wool, shiplap walls, and hardwood bamboo floors. It has a bath tub and fresh and gray water storage tanks. Unique vintage touches include a 1950s Dyer kitchenette with a Brizo Tresa faucet ($1300), a 1940s Frigidaire fridge, a thick $2200 solid copper sink with a matching solid copper faucet, an antique solid wood door with a late 1800s door knob, a Thinktank composting toilet, metal bathtub, a real crystal chandelier, antique brass bed and nightstands, a custom remade 1969 Adrian Pearsall style gondola couch, and a completely rebuilt Vermont Intrepid II wood stove.
This bus has incredible character and always turns heads. I love the mid-century vibe and had big plans to finish it, but after moving back to Washington a year ago, I no longer have the space or time to complete the project.
Priced to sell at $20,000. Located in Billings, Montana.
Feel free to PM with questions or to schedule a time to check it out.
