1987 BlueBird Wanderlodge, I believe it is a WLPT36, or also called a PT36, just drove it for the first time in about 10 years and it drove nice. Has a Detriot 6V92TA with 330 hp. 2 Stroke Diesel power!!! Fired on the button after charging the batteries and jumpstarting, after driving it around for about 40 miles it started back up on its own, but wouldn’t start without a jump the next morning. Has the Alison 5 speed automatic transmission, out on the road first time in 10 years and it drove great and shifted nicely, but I drove it straight to the tire shop and had brand new Ironman 16 ply 11R/22.5 steer tires mounted on the front and some pretty good looking used tires on the rears. Has a 12.5 KW Kohler diesel generator front mounted hasn’t been started in about 5-6 years and It is not cranking?,we think it’s the little starter but? Plugged it into shore power 110 and the fridge was working and the interior lights and stuff were working, all the headlights, taillights and the turn signals worked when I tried them. The interior is dirty but I’ve started cleaning it and it is cleaning up nicely, the skylight leaks when it rains and there’s a soft spot in the floor underneath it, selling as-is for $12,000. Has an Oregon title, and it was bought by us and titled in 2013 in Oregon, and it says “Branded-GA” in the box on the title? Unsure of why it has s title brand? It was already that way when we got it, and the previous owners said it was like that when they got it also. Two owners ago were Dan and Lora, and they told us that someone from the band BTO had something to do with this Motor Coach? but I’ve never been able to confirm that? This Wanderlodge needs some love, and new batteries. Theirs a soft spot under the skylight is the worst part about it? imo, and I still haven’t looked at the skylight yet either. Some of the plywood floor will definitely need replacement, maybe a 4’x6’ area in front of the sink area(guessing)? I can also hear some air leaks while it’s running and there will be some repairs needed on air lines also. Those are my main reasons for the lower price. Couple good points are, Floor feels good in the rest of the coach though, It doesn’t run low on air when idling or driving, Another nice thing is that a lot of the electrical seems to work and the area’s where you can see wiring it looks great. Also the cabinets seem to be in pretty good shape still?, and it has a porcelain throne in the bathroom lol. Step down into the shower has good headroom. I’ve taken it for a drive three times now and put almost 100 miles on it since the new front tires, 70 mph is smooth at 2100 rpm, surprisingly quiet inside in my opinion, it runs and shifts excellent for me so far, and quieter than my dodge Cummins in the cab anyways. Frame looks good what I can see and I took couple pictures when getting the front tires changed, has a 4 bag airbag setup front axle and rides nice! and the front airbags looked great imo. All that being said, I had a couple look at it last week and told me in the condition it’s in it’s way nicer than the one that they have been living in for 3 years. I’m pretty much available to show it 7 days a week 8am-8pm, I have about 70 more pictures, text for more pics, Marvin. 503-801-8184
