Description: Purchased in 2020 at the start of the pandemic, my wife and I were going to convert this into a skoolie. We worked on it slowly over the next 2 years or so when my wife got diagnosed with POTS (its a chronic illness). From there the project got sidelined indefinitely.

Whats been done so far: My wife and I completely gutted the bus. I welded all the holes that were left from taking the seats out. We replaced 3 of the windows with inserts from a person who makes skoolie parts here in NC (I don't remember the website off the top of my head). The air dryer has been replaced. We had the rear door fixed as the bottom panel window had been shattered out and the bottom edge of it had really bad rust issues. We took it to a local welding shop and they were able to fix it up. In the picture you will see that the side storage box on the outside has a hole in it. We didn't have the key and my dad wanted to know what was inside so brute force was his desired method.

Since the sidelining its been living at my parents house with my dad starting it occasionally to keep things in working order. While I am asking for $10k I am willing to negotiate. Its not currently road legal so depending on the distance I would probably pay to get it towed where it needed to go. Send me a PM if you are interested. Also we would be throwing in the Pioneer Mini split shown in the pictures to whoever purchased the bus.

So sorry to hear of your wife's illness. I pray she gets the help she needs. advice? Please include the mileage and what type of tranny it has. Does it still have the handicap lift? Just a bit of help. Hope your journey improves. Take care from Wake County.

Thanks nailtechie!

Mileage is 200k+, I will get an exact number the next time I am over but I do believe it is around 209k. Transmission is automatic. We removed the handicap lift. New batteries were installed this week. Did notice after starting the bus today that there seems to be a leak somewhere in the air system under the bus. Not enough to hinder it from releasing the parking break or braking in general, but will need to be addressed.

What engine, and transmission model, such as md3060 or Allison 2000 series, axle ratio would be helpful information to list. Air brakes are a plus, but air leak will need fixed before it can be driven. Because if you loose all air , then the bus will not be moving.

Engine: Cummins ISB 6.7 200–260 hp
Transmission: Either Allison 2500 or 3000

Air issue: Like I said in the post, I would be willing to get it towed to where it needed to go it if was somewhere local. With all my wife's medical bills and me working full time, I don't have the time or energy to try and get this particular issue fixed. I will have my dad's mechanic friend see what he thinks, but if it is not a simple or cheap fix it would just have to be something you consider while buying and as I said I am willing to negotiate down.
