This is a COMPLETE solar power system for an RV / skoolie / conversion / overland vehicle. The system is built for boondocking and not needing any shore power. It was professionally designed to be capable of running 240v appliances or tools, as well being able to run an AC unit overnight. Everything was for our 40ft home on wheels that unfortunately we won’t be finishing due to a death in the family. I’d like to sell the full kit together, if possible, so all batteries and solar components. With or without the panels as they may not fit on most rigs. It is EVERYTHING you will need, saves you a lot of hassle shopping around. I’ve worked with 3 different solar installers as well as Victron and Battleborn to plan this out. Redundancy is king! With your panels series in parallel and your transformer balancing your power for longer component life, you have a super reliable system that is also capable of running at half capacity if anything ever goes wrong with one of the inverters or controllers. Simple steps to run off the other one until you diagnose and fix!! It’s an ideal system for a large rig or anyone who wants to live fully off grid without need for shore power. It’s also planned to charge off the alternator.
All new Victron solar components for a 24v split phase system capable of powering both 120 and 240 appliances. Battery bank of 12 (Twelve) new 12v 100 amp hour Battleborn LiFePO4 batteries, which is 600 amp hours at 24v. 28.8kwh at 24v.
I also have 8 (eight) lightly used 530w solar panels totaling to 4240 watts. They are quite large so if you don’t want those I understand and will sell separately! They are approximately 45” wide x 90” tall. We built a custom roof rack for them as pictured. There are two brand new sets of 50ft positive and negative cables for running series in parallel.
