For Sale Converted 2016 E450 Shuttle bus. $9,000.00
Eldorado Aerotech 240 low floor model with working wheelchair lift.
Gasoline V10 engine with 199,600 miles.
Runs great. Turn the key and it starts first time. No warning lights, everything is working fine.
Registered in California as a motorhome not a commercial vehicle.
Minimal rust.
2 batteries, each with a disconnect, so that when camping or at home, one can be isolated so that whatever has been going on elsewhere there is always enough power to start the vehicle.
We have installed a backup camera, wired so that it can used whilst travelling on the highway not just when reversing.
Two sets of solar powered interior lights, run off panels recharging on the dash during the daytime.
Dash a/c and rear a/c. Dash and rear heat. All working well. A portable a/c with side discharge for use when camping at campsite with shore power
We purchased it from a Southern California Transit Authority, so it has been well maintained.
The low floor model gives 6ft. 2 inches of headroom, which is more than standard models.
Most seats have been removed to make way for two single bunks with 75 x 35 foam mattresses. The beds are high enough for 8 15 gallon plastic storage containers to fit underneath.
8 passenger seats, with seatbelts, remain. 4 seats at the rear and two sets of two behind the driver. The four rear (two sets of two) are especially useful because they fold up when not in use, giving more useable room.
Two shore power connections, one on each side. Two 14 gauge extensions bring the power to the top of the beds for CPAP machines and other electronics.
Removeable blackout curtains.
Working wheelchair lift. We used it to carry an electric scooter for travel once we had our campsite. The scooter is not included, the photo is just to show on of the many options possible.
We use a Colman gas stove, or an induction hot plate when necessary and a cooler chest/fridge that works with 12v or 110v.
We’re sad to part with our motorhome. I’m on my second cardiac event and can’t continue with the build out, which is a great disappointment to us, nearly as much as the cardiac problems. Even though it a simple conversion we’ve been out in it many times and with staying at campsites with shore power, we find we get all the facilities of a much extensive/expensive conversion.
I'm not sure if the photos have been attached or detached. I'll post it and see. If they don't come through I'll try again or if anyone is interested I can email them to you. My thanks to everyone who helped.
