For sale is my 40' 1992 International 7.3L diesel with no computer governor. This engine is well-known and world famous as a million-mile-engine and a workhorse. The engine has 129K miles on it. This is the ultimate platform for a skoolie. Just ass EastCoastCB, the guy I bought it from.

Why am I selling? Covid made it hard for me to have the money to finish the conversion and then coming out of Covid, since I separated from Active Duty Air Force (6 years), I started flight school as a pilot civilian side. I now have some money to work on it, but not the time, as a low-flight-time pilot. This bus has been loved and is in very good condition. Located in San Antonio, Texas.

Configuration: DT-466 is the tractor configuration, turbo-charged to increase pull. It has an Allison transmission as well.
Coachwork: This is a 1992 Ward Senator. Ward went out of business in 1993, but the Senator was their mid-range bus. They were bought out by International, which is why it has an International Engine in it. The bus is rust free and the floor is in excellent condition. The bus was a band bus in Kentucky originally and as such has a 5 under storage compartments.
Some of the few current issues with the bus: The engine has an occasional squeal due to a tensioning cable, but it is fully functional and was evaluated by a mechanic to be worth waiting until the engine gets serviced.
The right side front-shock has collapsed and needs to be replaced. I’m planning on taking care of this very soon.
The fuel system works fine, but in Texas summers, tends to develop “vapor lock.” Depending on where the bus will live for the next owner, an electric fuel pump may be worth installing. I’m selling the bus for $15k, in good running condition, as is. I’ve installed floors, a solar panel roof-rack, a trailer hitch, and with a very valuable roof-raise that allows me (6’3”) to stand comfortably in.

I have not yet installed the “living space” electrics, but I have 5 250W solar panels. I’d be very happy to include them for an additional $1000.
I have a composting toilet (retails for $1K), that has been used, but I would be willing to sell for $500. This is much better than using a “black water tank” on the bus, imo.
I have a Cubic Cub mini-wood-stove for heating the bus. I’d be willing to sell it for $250 (retails for $500). It also comes with some flue-work.
I have a 3000W inverter that is brand new, which retails for $700, that I would be willing to sell for $500. This is the ideal size for using a majority of appliances and can surge to supply power for the compression stages of an air conditioner.
