Thanks guys. This is my first international build. I did a Cummins but this was a whole different world. Very rewarding and i didit all myself.
It is the same engine. With a few minor differences. I'm not gonna flip it. I'm gonna park it out west. We are trying to get some land in southern Oregon and that long drive is crazy. I will build it up in the winter and maybe sell it. Most likely not tho. I've grown attached.

It runs. Goes in gear. But has no throttle. The gas pedal hits the floor but no rev. Any ideas?

This is an FE so no aux throttle in engine bay correct? Is warn light on or you can’t tell because this one cluster is toast? Be sure you got the pedal plugged into the harness all the way, as well as the 2 large connector tors on the ECM. Those connectors have a plastic tie wheel which loves to strip. And may not allow the connector to seat all the way. The plastic turn wheel comes off with a Phillips then you can use a 5/16 socket. You don’t want to over tighten the ECM connector but you can feel if it snugs up.
If none of the dimples fix it we will need to go at it with a meter and I can get you the pin outs and test voltages. Make sure it’s not something simple like the harness at the bulkhead is just cocked or loose. Can you rev the engine with the cruise buttons?
Turn cruise on and hold down resume should start to rev the engine.

Our bus cannot rev in neutral unless you take it of parking brake. Different engine and it is a transit but that is how it is programmed.

Nice job good luck. J

There is a single 5 pin connector that plugs into the accelerator pedal. There are 4 wires usually In the harness.. that has a way of getting kicked loose sometimes

Get the throttle fixed, warm it up, take it out and stomp on it, if it’s solid all parts it left with will return still on the bus.. and I don’t mean on the bus in a bucket.

All the connections look good. When i started it today it idled up to temp. and then I reved it a few rpms and then went back to idle. I restarted it and it reved up. I took it around the block. It shifted really late and blew black smoke the whole time. Not too much but enough to be worrysome.
