40' international amtran. 98 push dt466e. Replaced the tierod ends and drag link. The front appears to be too heavy. Is there any way to bed up my front suspension?
Are you sure the front is too low, or is the rear too high? Does this only happen after the bus is fully aired up? Why I'm asking is because some buses have air suspension at the rear only, and if the level valves for the rear air bags are not set right or stuck in one position, they could cause the rear of the bus to sit too high, like a stinkbug. Just a thought.
Or if you have front air bags, is there a kneeling position for them?
A 20-year old bus should not need its springs re-arched. If there are springs at the front, are they still slightly arched, or flat, or bowed up? Do you have enough air pressure in the tires? Under-inflated front tires will squash down more than under-inflated rear tires.
