If you look through my build thread I think I put up some details on the screens. I took scrap metal and had it welded up to make frames that fit the window space on the outside, then cut screen to fit and glued it to the frames with liquid nails, then screwed each frame in with four screws.

Page 19 of my thread has pics.

We have three wanna-be squirrel killers and cat haters.
The wife is afraid they will go right thru the window screen if the window is up enough.
I think our solution will be about the same as your screens.
But I think I will sandwich an equal size of hardware cloth or maybe chicken wire in between the frame and the bus. Along with the screens.

He's definitely got it made!!!
Now he's got a bed on top of the doghouse and last night I picked him up a bed for my bed.
The humane society gave him the zebra blanket and a squeaker toy when I adopted him.

He goes where I go... Except inside the grocery store.
They love him in the farm supply store!
Once it gets warmer outside, I'll drop him off with my son when I have to shop for groceries.

I knew I missed my poodles, but I didn't realize it was that bad!

my chihuahua Marcus is not so cool with my bus but then again it's not finished and not a "home" yet.....and it's super cold in there right now...yesterday the high temp was 29 and I had power tools going so the poor thing just wanted to go in the house where his super warm and comfy bed was... He'll come around I'm sure.

It got into the 40's the other night, so we rigged up a forced hot air heating system for Dixie's house/kennel. She also has a sweater.

I wish it would cool off a bit here in so. FL... It's 81 right now. I have the fan blowing on the bus, the chihuahuas are comfy in their under the bed cave, where it seems cooler than the rest of the bus.

When it's sunny, he loves his bed on top of the doghouse. Actually, he prefers that bed most of the time so he can watch out the windshield.

This weather is pretty non-typical for our area... Rarely gets below 25°.
It won't last too long, so we'll make the best of it
