Does anyone else have a significant gap in their floor underneath the dashboard? Im talking like half inch visible to the ground underneath?I’m assuming it has something to do with the movement of the cabin and engine bay moving separately. See the photos attached. The drivers side had remnants of some sort of rubber, but the passenger side had none. No rust either. Can I just fill this with some sealant or does it also provide some drainage from the engine bay? I’m just about to finish up with the insulation and subfloor but want to treat this area properly.

Yep, mine has the gap as well. That's where the chassis manufacturer's firewall meets the body, which is built by a different manufacturer.

I resealed mine. The old seam sealer had dried, cracked and fallen apart.
