It says for new members to say Hi....so G'day.
I couldn't get much newer if I tried...lol. This is my first time ever to join a forum of any description and the first time ever to own a bus.
After we sealed the deal I turned to my husband and said 'We own a bus....never owned a bus before'.
We have just purchased a 1988 MAN bus. 40ft long ex public transport bus. The type that lowers itself to curb level with airbags. It has already been stripped inside and was once done as a basic makeshift camper but has since been stripped again.
We are starting with an almost blank slate and plan to build it up as a fully fitted motorhome to take extended holidays and travel with our business. Hubby and I have talked about doing this for about fifteen years now and we are both very excited, have lots of plans, ideas and building skills but will definitely benefit from the wealth of experience on this forum. Thank you in advance for any advice and help. Cheers from South Aust.

G'day back at'cha mates! --- And welcome! Man makes some very fine buses so like the others here, I am anxious to see some pix of what they have down in Oz and what your plans are.

Thanks for the welcome. I will put some pics up during next week once it arrives here at home. We looked at it last Wednesday and did the deal on Friday. We pick it up next week. Basic description....its a big white rectangular box with wheels (and a bit of mould and moss) just now...but we can turn it into something special. It's been sitting in a farm paddock for a few years. My eyes lit up when I saw it and hubby's brain has been in overdrive planning stuff since. Can't wait. :)
