Gray Water Drip System

I'm contemplating putting in a gray "tank" that intentionally drips, percolating my gray water out on the ground ... slowly.

Obvious downsides could be clogged drip holes, icicles in winter, and soggy ground beneath the dripper over long term boondocking.

Any other thoughts pro or con?

Smell and potential tickets/fines.

I have had small grey water leaks and it was the smell that clued me in to the leak. It does smell. Especially in warm weather.

Illegal, smelly ... these are clearly concerns!

Still, I have an irresistible desire to make my bus drip.

if you made a drip line coming out of your grey tank, you would end up concentrating the solids in your grey waste tank. it would not take long for that scum to get real foul and hard to clean out.

with the exception of your own property, you'd be risking a fine any time you "watered"

Yeah, a good drip system would likely have a filter you could periodically dump, an on/off valve for "non-drip mode," and then the dripper at a lowpoint in the holding system ...
