Hello all!

Recently joined the board. Enjoying the process of reading all about the conversions that folks have completed / underway / planned.

Me? I'm an empty-nester...looking forward to retirement (some day)! Family is scattered from New England to Oregon, so I'm definitely looking to being "on the road" for extensive periods of time between now and whenever I finally do pull the plug.

There are a couple of topics I'd be interested in learning more about, including:
A. Flat Nosed Bus (vs) Traditional: Any advantages of one (vs) the other as regards
(1.) Ease of driving
(2.) Space utilization / efficiency

Flat vs dog nose is purely a matter of preference. I've driven both, and I slightly prefer flat nose just because of better visibility. As far as space efficiency, with a flat nose you either have a doghouse (engine cover) next to the driver if it's a front engine, or an engine cover in the rear if it's a rear engine. Front engine is most certainly noisier for the driver.
I went front engine flat nose for my first build, but have really been eyeing the rear engine models and motor coaches for Skoolie v2.
