Hello all! My wife and I are looking at living in a skoolie conversion full time! I am going to try and do a full conversion in ONE month! I will be depending on this site and YouTube a lot for help! I should be purchasing our bus this week and then the clock starts ticking!
Our bus will be named Lad and we want to eventually design the outside to look like a train engine! We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 rabbits. I'm planning on building a home for the rabbits on some land I bought so they don't have to live on the bus.
My plan is to go to Idaho- mountain bus sales in Nampa- and buy one of the larger buses. Do you guys think I could do a full conversion in 25 days if I take 10 days off to work on it plus a few hours a day for the other 15 days? I have all the tools I should need already...

One month (25 days) is wholly unrealistic.

1. Strip the seats (2 days with 2 kids)
2. flooring (strip the rubber barrier, fix any sub-floor issues, carpeting/linoleum)
3. Wiring (inside ligting, power strips)
4. Plumbing (sink, shower) & composting toilet)
5. Custom bed frame
6. Insulation (rigid or spray in)
7. Paneling (purely cosmetic)
8. Custom furnishings/cabinetry

I can see how this might look realistic if you live in one of the "Cannabis is legal" states--otherwise, don't cancel the lease on your abode. On the other hand, If you have all the skill sets covered, a through plan of action, all the materials on hand and a cast of thousands to help get-er-done, it might just work. It sounds like an interesting challenge as long as you have a place to tuck into should things slow down.

Ol Trust is a pessimist.

I converted my first bus, to the point that it was liveable, in 90 days.

Sun rise till after dark almost every day. I had two fabricators a cabinet maker and two helpers working with me.

Seriously, if you are doing a very minimal conversion aka "metal tent" then 30 days may be attainable with some help. I would suggest that you have a contingency plan in case it takes you a bit longer.
