Recently sold the van (2002 Chevy Express, 2500) I lived in for 2 years and 40,000 miles for a 2007 Chevy 6.0L with a 5 window Thomas body.
Engine has 110,000 miles, runs great (10-12 mpg @ 60 mph highway), well maintained, very clean inside and out - body ad undercarriage have no rust.
Met a guy in Ocean Beach, Chttp://www.wolfenotes.com/2019/01/were-on-the-bus/a. (Adam) who did all the work - except I wired solar, controller, batteries, and inverter (Renogy System: 3 x 100 watt panels; 2x 200 ah batteries; 3000 watt inverter; and 40 amp controller - more than enough power for 4.4 cf fridge and lights et al).
I can stand up, cook, and lay on the couch and read!
Here she is - thinking of Logo's "Solar Express" and/or "Climate Chaos"
Looking forward to checking out this site and how other folks have done their buses.
