For those of you who opted to keep all the windows in your skoolie, tell me...how did you hang window curtains?

Ahhh..."sash rods", no wonder I couldnt find them. Hmmm....$5 ea, time to go to plan B. Thanks for finding them.

We're on the road next weekend, Lowe's is nearby. That might be a good chance to grab them. Thanks!

I tried that. The weight of the curtain pulled the magnets down the smooth paint. I had good magnets too!

We have been using magnets for 5 or 6 years waiting for curtains to arrive. The magnets are 3/4" square and 1/4" thick. They are super magnets and they are dangerous. If they snap together they will take a piece of meat with them. I usually use the 1/4" side if I'm just sticking them to the wall. If you lay them flat you can't get them off.I have to slide them to a curved surface to get them off. Believe me they do work.
I for got where I go them but they aren't hard to find. Just Google super magnets. A pretty good temporary fix.

Those are what I used except these were 1/2" round. The heavy material just pulled them down. Mind you this is not lightweight curtain stuff, it is heavy insulated material, with a backing too.

I am with Jerry we have magnets for our curtain needs and they have been awesome. A bit less powerful magnets that Jerry  sounds dangerous but we have been happy with the availability to easily remove the curtains and wash them easily as well as not having all the mounting headaches and holes to deal with. Plus to make curtains without the run in them for curtain rods really made sense for a newbie sewer like myself.

Here is a picture of my curtains up. I have 6 ft curtain panels and 3 magnets per curtain.

We've got heavy, backed, thermal curtains. Maybe thats why it wont work for me...they are heavy. Thanks for the pic.

Those are what I have. I put the curtains up and the weight drags them down the wall. [sigh]

Wow, monsters those curtains are. Well man looks like more magnets or curtain rods. Sorry man we have not sprung for the high end nice curtains yet I'll remember this conversation. Thats not cool

No, we're a gospel quartet. Out on weekends only. Heat...well.....we will be taking this although uncompleted, on its first trip in a couple weeks. Going to probably just bring along a "Mr Heater Big Buddy" for this time. Eventually I am leaning to using either the Webasto or put a water heater with a heat exchanger inline. Still hedging on what to do.
