Has anybody here added a second floor to their skoolie to create a double decker bus? If not could anybody give me some advice and resources an how i would theoritcally go about it it'll help me o create a sort of design plan.
Note: I know something this tall would not be road legal the goal is for the skoolie to be stationary.

I've seen stuff like this before:

I thought it was pretty cool and if I can talk my wife into it I will definitely do it myself.

Two-story bus is a common daydream amongst those considering makshift homes.

Do you already own land with septic, water & electric?

Thank you for the reply! To answer your question no I have not bought land yet. Right now I'm in in the preplanning phase and designing the various systems for my homestead so i can have a general idea on the budget.

Hello I'm going to post my plan incase this helps anyone
this old forum i found was also helpful : https://www.skoolie.net/forums/f10/to-put-a-vehicle-on-a-skoolie-3104.html
I Plan on buying a low floor bus as this is a key structual component in double decker buses and apparently helps keep the bus from tipping over. For the second story I plan on seeing if I can buy a small camper to use for a bedroom area and make an attic like ladder to get up there. My main inspiration for this idea came from this video : - YouTube . it also helps have some more room down stairs as well. My main reason for using a small camper and not a full on bus is that i could probablyfind one for cheap in my area and they wouldn't be as heavy as if I put another bus ontop. If anybody has anymore questions or advice feel free to drop them.
