Sportyrick was my inspiration for adding a door midships. I will say that everything really fell into place on mine (I'm guessing it was luck more than anything), including the frame ribs being exactly the correct distance apart for the door fit. I am very happy that we went that route.

Sorry to maybe spam this by bringing up an old thread
But I'm looking into putting a door mid-ship so that I can have a passenger seat. My question is: If my space between the frame rails is 29 inches, do I need a 29 inch rv door or should it be 26/28 inches to allow for hinges or framing or anything like that?
