Apparently, DRL is Daylight Running Lights. Who knew?

And there is a DRL ENG SIG. path that I'm not sure how to test?

DRL ENG SIG?
I supposed it could be with the engine running; the Audible alarm is canceled... feed.

Is there a master chart of the Pxx Connectors locations somewhere?
They are named but that doesn’t clue me into the location. "Body connector "could be anywhere...
And the colors as I have applied them are for separation only since I am partially color blind.

I am on the hunt for main feed to the DRLs
RE:Found the 4 Small Relays each associated with a portion of the DRL. In the side panel next to the driver's seat. I rotated them all in one position just to see if there would be a difference. And there was not.

Thanks in advance

interesting.. my DRL's are a simple separate fuse and relay on my bluebird. (its an IH chassis).. the DRL's are typically the high beam headlights activated in series so they get lower voltage to just make the bulbs glow.. at least. thats how it is on my bus.. when i went to LED headlights this wreaked havoc with the LED.. I pulled the fuse and no more DRL..

the forum kills the resolution of that wiring diagram so i cant blow it up big enough for me to see without it being too grainy..

if the DRL is active you'll have voltage at one connector's high beam but not both when the dash headlight switch is Off and the bulbs are unplugged.. when you turn the dash switch on (and no high beam dash light).. each connector should have voltage on its low beam circuit and no voltage on the high beam circuit..

Upload it as a file instead so that it can be viewed in detail.

Here is the wiring diagram for the DRL circuit, 4 relays. Relay P116 is where you should be.
It is being fedd by a 10 amp fuse.

Check fuse and check for voltage at the fuse>

Is there a way to add another file ... I have not spotted the mechanism on the forum

yes, when you post or reply, scroll down and look for the button that says Manage attachments.
A new window will open up so you can select your file and upload.
