Heater Replacement / Cooltant

I have a diesel Ford E350 which I'm converting to RV camper. I removed the heater in the bus which is heated with cooltant. I disconnected the supply and return lines which I assume are a loop off the engine cooltant system.

Now that I have the heater reinstalled and connected, how do I purge the air out the cooltant system and add additional cooltant for the new heater. Will it self purge once I start the engine? and do I add cooltant at the cooltant reservoir?

Any help/advise will be appreciated.

There should be a bleed screw somewhere in or near the heater core.

Usually it is a matter of pouring coolant in while the engine is running, bleed the heater core until coolant starts to come out, and then repeat several times until no air comes out of the bleeder.
