I've been a member - or rather a lurker with membership - here for some time .. away for awhile as it seemed the logistics of owning my own bus were insurmountable.
However, I'm happy to report that last Friday I drove my 2004 TCF 72 passenger bus home.
She's rough. Really rough. Indeed a basket case. A closer "next morning" inspection reveals the steel sub floor and structural stringers are toast. This bus is going to require some heavy labour.
Most people I suspect would curl up into the fetal position and cry.
But I have 35 years of wrenching and welding behind me. And I'm really really stubborn.
Looking forward to sharing my work, and helping when I can as well.
In that regard, the seller did include full service and wiring manuals to the tune of 700 pages.
If anyone needs any specific reference material I would be happy to hunt it down and send it along.
Jim.
