I wanted to introduce ourselves
We are Arely and Christopher from Texas. We converted a 99 Chevy Express in 2018 And live in it for almost 2 years. Sadly we were in accident and we lost it.
We bought a 2003 Ford E450 short bus with Corbeil body a month ago and we are getting ready to work on it.

Awesome improvement of space for us and our two dogs. We are artists, herbalist and sometimes preschool teachers.

I'll probably be here a lot cause there's so much to learn about the bus and diesel engines like i didn't realize we had two batteries.

Welcome! I'm sorry about the loss of your old bus and hope you are okay. For the new bus, after a lot of experience with my bus, I highly recommend before you do anything with the conversion that you assure your bus is in great mechanical and safety condition. I thought my bus was, but unfortunately it proved otherwise. Before you convert it, I've not only change all the fluids and have an inspected really well. But I'd take it on a good long drive to see how well it does. You're never going to catch everything, but putting it through its paces before you start to convert will not only give you more peace of mind but may save you from a big headache down the road. Don't ask me how I know!

Yes, we changed all the fluids, took it to the mechanic, change all the tires and then drove it 1,520 miles home. it drives great but we definitely make sure to check it more before building and moving in.
