Hi There!!!
Just wanted to take a minute and introduce us. I'm Chad and my GF is Corrie. We are into the planning stages for our bus conversion and soaking up as much information as we can. We still have not purchased our very own Skoolie but are researching to find the best one for our needs. We have a long term plan that involves living full time in our build for probably 2 years with our 2 dogs. We are super excited to build our "Dream" and start our new adventure together with our custom home. ;-)
So please excuse us if we ask a "stupid" question for this is a completely new endeavor for us both. I have been in construction for just about 30 years but building an awesome bus will be a new experience.
We are glad that we may be part of your community and are excited to learn as much as we can from all you experienced "Skoolers" :) and hopefully can give back as we progress through our journey.
Thank you for being here!!
Happy Trails
Chad and Corrie

We are living in Bailey ( 50 miles SW of Denver) until we get our bus completed then we plan to head over to the western slope around Grand Junction somewhere.

Very nice. I have friends out there in different areas. I LOVE the Ft Collins area myself.
We want to get our bus out to Steamboat, actually.

Got a bus yet? If so post pics. If not- post some anyhow. We love to meet new folks here.

I just noticed they may all have 545 transmissions. DON'T buy one with that transmission...
Call about any bus you're interested in and ask for details or even better go check out a bus yourselves. Be sure you know what you're getting.
But yeah for any kind of mountain travel it would be advisable to get a CO bus!

THIS is such a sweet bus, I'm scrambling to raise some money so I can bid on it and then I'll have to figure out how to get it home! Last year of mechanical engine, And its got the 3060 tranny... SWEET bus here-

Hello there,

Anyone know where I can get an older model All American 1986-1995. Preferably with the 8.3 cummins.

I say go for it if you have the means and can store it somewhere reliably.:thumb:

I have plenty of room and can get the build done right outside my garage door luckily. It looks like a nice bus and meets all my early on requirements but I'm still researching. it'll be there for another 10 days or so and I may just try to get it.
Thanks again my friend for the help!!

note sure how to start a new thread,i dont see the new thread link.

Then you really should go through the FAQ's, site rules, etc.
Go to the appropriate section and click the "start new thread" button.
I'm not at all trying to be rude but it will get you further along to go with the flow and not against it.
