My wife and I have converted a school bus into a motor home. We still have a few things left to complete it. My job will be taking me from City to City so this is the way I chose to live. We are so excited!!!! It's a 1990 Wayne Chevrolet with an 8.2 Detroit Diesel. All highway gears and a six speed retarder. Living in a bus seems exciting to us.

Hi!

My husband and I just got a bus too! 1994 Ford B700 series 5.9L Cummins, automatic. We also live in daytona beach, FL. I don't even quite no where to start myself- but i look forward to the process!

I'm new here, but I think the first step is a process of admission

You:
"hi, I'm Claireisrare, and I'm a skoolie"

Us:
"Hi, Clairisrare!"

"cookies and punch are at the back of the room":greetings:

There used to be a liquor store in San Francisco that had a sign that said, "Liquor in the front, poker in the back."

Welcome and remember what _______ said:

“Wine makes daily living easier, less hurried, with fewer tensions and more tolerance.” Benjamin Franklin

“My manner of living is plain, a glass of wine and a bit of mutton are always ready, and such as will be content to partake of that are always welcome.” George Washington

"Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder." Bible

So don't forgo the lonely grape

Welcome. My wife and I are just south of Orlando. We are in the process as well. Bought ours about 7 months ago. Would be much farther along but the heat and rain are keeping the pace down.
Laugh a lot, don't fret the small stuff and do it your way. Take pictures along the way. Laugh some more and spend a night or two in it when you can while working on it. Take some wine with you. We sleep in it in the driveway on the weekends when we can.

I got the Keurig....I'll bring the coffee for the morning after we drink all of Bansils wine & EastCoast whiskey.

Whose bringing the grub?

Every year at our first baseball parent meeting, I make 2 of these.
I cut them up into slices, then cut each slice in 1/2....
And I bring a box of toothpicks.

The most I've ever brought back home was the box of toothpicks!

My Cardiologist would have me committed if she even knew I looked at those.

All that's missing is a big azz jar of the saltiest pickles...in fact I think those would be great if you were to throw in a pickle on each one.
