Hello from Denver, CO. Conversion space?

Hey guys, gals, and everyone else!
I live in Denver and I've renovated old camper trailers, but want to start on a skoolie for a big road trip.

Right now the biggest road block seems to be finding a space that I can rent that will allow me to do the conversion. I'm a city dweller and can't work on the bus at my house. Any advice, leads, etc in this area would be appreciated!

I walked the alleys looking for a place a bus would fit in am area i wanted to be and then got lucky to find the owner and asked to rent the spot.

I rented a covered space for mine in my city at a U-haul facility.. they claim you arent supposed to work on things there.. but everyone does and no one says a word as long as you dont do anything to damage the property.. like leave piles of seats, or drip paint all over the pavement or spill large amounts of oil, coolant, etc...

I am having the same issues in Denver. I have it parked at my brothers house until I create a driveway in my backyard.

All of the rental spots I called are full.

Its getting harder and harder to find extra space in Denver.

this is also the toughest time in northern climates to find storage space.. many people are tasking their boats out of the water and putting their RV's up for the season..

There are a few uncovered storage places that have space, but they won't take the bus until its painted a non-yellow color and the conversion is complete.
