I just joined this forum and thought I would introduce myself....
I am Norm and live in the Sun Valley Area and am starting to convert my 3rd school bus - the other 2 have been somewhat of a hack job, used parts and pieces from other places - this bus I plan on living full time in it. I am a remodeling contractor - build cabinets and furniture and small remodels - My plan is to make the back 1/3 my tool storage, and the front 2/3 living space - going to raise the roof...I am thinking about 14 - 18 inches... still planning that out.
My thought is when I am all done with the build, I will be able to travel around, show up at a jobsite, setup my shop in someones garage (will have portable workbenches...etc) and could easily build a custom set of cabinets, remodel - maybe in remote areas... I have been sorting and organizing my tools etc...
