Hello from Stokebus

Jolly, I'm in Cedar Point. I'll PM with my info. I'd appreciate some guidance!

I received your info. In the PM.
I will be texting you soon.
Cedar points even closer than I thought you would say.
I have seen used buses around the area like Hubert, havelock, grifton,Greenville and odd places in between.
But your the first one that's within an 1-1/2 drive and your basically on my front porch.
So a get together is a definite and soon.
How are you enjoying the snow on coast?

Started the Deconstruction today... took out the luggage racks, the M16 Rack, and all the flooring from the seats back (need a second person to get the underbus seat bolts off).

Floor is pretty good, no spots to repair that I can tell.

Looking good man.
I started to call you yesterday morning to see if you needed help to get things covered before the rain today but when I passed buy you already had the windows back in.
Still working on getting a manual for your AC unit. So I can decipher some specifics of it to help get it up and running.
Have fun and call/text if I can help.

Thanks Jolly. She’s dried in, Window frames primed/painted... Lexel inside and out, Tape Flashed inside, two new hatches screwed/lexel... and roof is ready for Henry Elasto when it arrives👌🏻

Planning the furring and sub structure now and have the spray foam kit here and waiting.

I got to meet another SKOOLIE in Greenville last week and look through his build.
He is ready for the plumbing stage and had questions.
Another member up around ASHEVILLE is ready for the plumbing stage and has questions.
If you are interested I am thinking of trying to plan a get together for a day or weekend where we can all hang out and discuss everything SKOOLIE but I have done plumbing for quite awhile so maybe mainly something like basic plumbing do's and donts and help cover specific design ideas.
I want to propose a place in Stella near us that has two options.
One a full open field or selective SKOOLIE parking around a building with bathrooms, kitchen that we use for a Boy Scout hut.
Or if need be travel there direction for a day/weekend thing.
Whatcha think?

Sounds like a cool idea. You could use my shop... we could fit 4-5 buses in there... I'm super busy over the next few months though (and will probably have the work done during that time:smile:)

BTW Jolly... got the lights working cleaned the switch internals out and swapped the wires and viola! Lights!

You have me at your back door so I will try to keep plumbing/electrical stuff on my truck. Really at my house
Just started a pipe welding job in Goldsboro and another one in Greenville so most of my truck will be welding and rigging stuff. But I do have an underground plumbing job at lejeune next week so any PVC glue cleaner is readily available and I have some fittings.
Holler at me before you go shopping.
