Congrads on your purchase.
My first bus was a 7 window. Absolutely perfect for 2 adults & 1 child. We even had another couple move in with us for 1 winter from Florida to Texas.
Parking was hardly an issue, most everywhere we went there was always a place to park Gooper (He went thru a good bit of oil). Gas milage was great, I guess, at 25 cents a gallon, we didn't have to think much about it.
We now have a 12 window. There's only 2 of us but the 5 fur babies (2 large German Shorthairs, 1 beagle, & 2 cats) dictated that we have more room as they don't tend to share very well.
We're not on the road yet. As we are not planning on having a toad I often think & feel that we will miss out on quite a few things & places to see due to parking the beast. Our gas mileage will now become important, price wise & size.
I want to take Hubby thru Manhattan as he's never been and everyone needs to go there at least once. I can't imagine driving through there.
Anywho.....enjoy & post lots of pictures. Nothing we love more than critiquing the work being done. Don't worry, most of us won't tell you to your face what a stupid thing you just did. That's why its important to talk about it before you do it. We love to offer up opinions & ideas.
